Published Oct 28, 2022

October 28, 2022 (Boyds, MD) - With the playing season over and matches done for the year, Maryland Bobcats FC are announcing the departure of club Vice President and longtime club member, Evan Raimist, at the end of the season after 6 years and various roles.

The transition is already underway and Raimist will be invovled with the transition, downloading knowledge, best practices, and more, to serveral staff members who will move up to take his place to ensure the club doesn't “miss a beat”.

Raimist reflected on his 6 years with the club, saying "The club has gone through a lot of changes since I got the email invite to come out to a game almost six years ago. I’ve spent a lot of time, energy, and emotion to help in any way I could to get it to this point. The club has been on my mind, every second, of every day, for over 3 years. Everything I did - personally and professionally - were to help the club and our players grow and be the best they can be".

Club President, Jay Saba, on Raimist and his departure: "If you told us an organization that started over a decade ago will become something this special, we would have all laughed at the thought. We are very grateful for how Evan as grown over the years with the Bobcats. He did a lot for this club and we are glad he’s been rewarded with a bigger position. From playing in goal, to the Vice President, of the club we couldn’t be prouder. I, definitely, will miss our long conversations about how we can continue to do bigger and better things and how to continue to make the club better. I’ve always known it was just a matter of time before this day comes. I wish him nothing but the best and I’m sure he'll “kill it”! Always know, the Bobcats will forever be a home for you. All the best, mate! Proud of you."

More staffing updates to come as the club hits the ground running on the First Team offseason.
