Assistant Coach

Phil Nana was born in Bamenda, Cameroon. He grew in stature as a soccer player in the Maryland system, playing for Damascus Soccer Club. His collegiate experience includes being a two-year starter at Montgomery College and Frostburg State University. Winning multiple championships and awards, Coach Nana continued his Adult Professional Career at New Orleans Jesters (USL-2) and Mulheim Strikers (Regionalliga).

Coach Nana is currently the head coach for the Montgomery College Lady Raptors. He has already set high standards with an impressive hardware collection. In just 5 seasons at the collegiate level coach Phil has won 4 district 5 region and 4 conference championship. Along with 2 NJCAA coach of the year trophies, he helped the lady raptors receive  votes for the NJCAA Top Ten National women’s soccer rankings.

Also the previous Head Coach for the Maryland Bobcats when they competed in the UPSL, Phil helped the talented squad in achieving an undefeated season along with claiming the Conference and National Championship trophies.  To add to the success, that Bobcats team also won it's first ever NISA Independent Cup trophy. 

Phil is currently an assistant for the Bobcats NISA team as they look to add to the teams growing success.
